The WPNA, working with the Agave, JJ Seabrook, Mueller, and Pecan Springs neighborhood associations, is hosting a candidate forum for Texas House District 46. The seat is currently held by Dawnna Dukes, and she is being challenged by Warren Baker, Sheryl Cole, Ana Cortez, Casey McKinney, and Chito Vela for the Democratic nomination. Gabriel Nila is running for the Republican nomination. Nnamdi Orakwue is running as an independent. All candidates have been invited.The forum will be on Thursday, February 15 from 7-9 PM at the Memorial United Methodist Church. It is open to all, and audience members will be given a chance to ask questions of the candidates.
