Bike To Work Day, Mueller to Downtown, May 19th

Preston Tyree Front Porch Flyer, Video

Each year in conjunction with Bike Month, Austin holds a citywide Bike to Work Day.  The Mueller Neighborhood Association has traditionally sponsored a breakfast station at the Aldrich circle. This year there were two stations sponsored by the MNA, one at the traditional Aldrich circle location and one at Berkman and Garcia at Neighbors ER. We had a lot of sponsors for both stations as local businesses came out to support our community members that rode to work.

Doug Ballew celebrated his last day working for the City of Austin by leading the Mueller to City Hall ride. Dusty Harshman and Preston Tyree were along for the ride and we picked up a few more riders as we went downtown. Hope you can make it next year.

To see some scenes of the events and people who participated in the event at Aldrich circle and City Hall site check out this eight-minute video.  It includes interviews with Chief Hanley of APD, Judge Eckhardt of Travis County, Francisco Albornoz of Frost Bank among others.
